E6000 Glue

E-6000 Glue - 0.5floz (14.7ml)

A silicone based industrial strength one part epoxy adhesive. E6000 jewellery glue can be used on; wood, metal, glass fiberglass, ceramics, mosaics as well as, leather, rubber, vinyl, most plastics, masonry and concrete.  

Pros.

  • Perfect for gluing hot-fix to rubber and ideal for blinging up your converse.
  • It comes in a handy squeezy tube to ensure not a drop is wasted and dries clear.

Cons.

  • When first opened, the  glue can come out quite quickly and get you into a mess

5 Minute Epoxy Glue Syringe

This glue is a super strong quick dry 2-part clear epoxy glue perfect for use on glass, metal, wood concrete, ceramics, china and more.

Pros.

  • We haven’t found a project yet that it hasn’t been perfect for – it is always our first port of call.

Cons.

  • It’s quite easy to syringe out more than you necessarily need and can get quite sticky, so make sure you give it a wipe when you’ve finished with it.
  • make sure you mix it well or it won’t set properly

Zap Jewellery Gel

A non drip jewellery gel, it’s the strongest cyanoacrylate glue available. Zap Jewellery gel can be used on; metal, leather, porcelain, wood, plastic and rubber.

Pros.

  • Ideal for bonding the ends onto a kumihimo braid, because it’s a gel it doesn’t soak into the cord, it just fills the gaps in between the cord and the fastening to create a super secure bond, the gel base also prevents bleeding.
  • Comes in a handy squeezy tube.

Cons.

  • Because it’s in a squeezy tube, it comes out very quickly when first opened and can get quite messy

Ideal for use on all plastics, beads, ceramics, glass plus more.

Pros.

  • It has a super fine nozzle for a professional precise application, it’s also perfect for small scale jewellery projects.
  • Perfect for bonding bezzles.

Cons.

  • It is designed for smaller scale projects and therefore doesn’t hold lots of weight.

Deacons Dazzle TacDazzle-Tac Jewellery Glue

Bonding base metals, semiprecious stones, glass, ceramics, plastics (test first for compatibility), beads, wire, bone, horn, mirrors and more. 

Pros.

  • It dries with clear with a glass like finish.
  • It goes tacky quite quickly which makes it easy to work with.

Cons.

  • If you’re in a hurry, this may not be the glue for you, although it says it’s quick dry you need at least 48 hours drying time.
  • It has quite strong fumes, so we’d recommend using it in a well ventilated room or even outside.
