Glass SuperDuo Beads

Our Glass SuperDuo bead collection at The Bead Shop is a rainbow of colours and patterns, providing oodles of variety for lots of different jewellery making and craft projects.

Oval in shape, each Czech Glass SuperDuo bead comes with two holes, allowing for more detailed beading and threading. The beads are consistent in shape and size with each one measuring 2.5x5mm.

The hole sizes are approximately 0.6mm and they are available at The Bead Shop in packs of 10g with approximately 130 beads in each pack.

These Czech glass beads work well in a range of different bead craft projects including embroidery; they also look good as pendants and as part of a necklace or bracelet, alongside other seed beads.

Glass Super Duo Bead Collection

The Bead Shop’s collection is the ultimate in variety and choice; below are some examples of the beads we have available on our online store:

  • Multi-coloured superduo beads allow beaders to produce delicate creations and there is no shortage of other materials and colours to use alongside them. Have a look at our crystal and amber beads which use the two colours to create the effects of a rainbow; the crystal and garnet combination and the crystal and dark topaz produce a similar effect using slightly different colour tones.
  • If it’s an aqua themed jewellery piece you wish to create then browse through our selection of aquamarines, sapphires, turquoises and cobalt blues. For more khaki inspired colours we have matt dark olive lustre, turquoise green Picasso and Olivine beads to choose from.
  • If you’re after darker shades then look through the jet, matt jet, hematite and lustre dark metallic coloured beads to help you decide.

Making Your SuperDuo Creation

Once you have picked the beads you like then it’s time to think about how you are going to piece them together.

Have a look at our selection of beading needles on our jewellery making equipment page as well as other useful items like beading awls which can unblock the dust that is sometimes collected in the holes of the beads during manufacture.
