Sending Beads Across the UK

Good news - there’s no minimum order, so whether you need one clasp or enough beads for your next big project, we’re happy to send it your way.

Royal Mail Tracked 48 – £2.50

Our most popular postage option.

Ususally arrives within 2-3 working days. You'll receive tracking updates along the way, so you can keep an eye on your parcel from dispatch to delivery.

Royal Mail Tracked 24 - £3.50

Need your beads a little sooner?

Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver within 1-2 working days. You'll receive full tracking and delivery updates for added peace of mind.

Please note that Tracked 24 is not a guaranteed next working day service, although many parcels do arrive the following working day.

Next Day / Special Delivery - £8.99

Need your order urgently? This is the option we’d recommend.

To receive your parcel on the next working day, please place your order before 10am.

For example, if you’d like your beads before 5pm on Tuesday, you’ll need to order before 10am on Monday.

A few things to note:

• Next Day deliveries are made on weekdays only.
• Orders placed before 10am on Friday will usually arrive on Monday.
• Deliveries are made between 8am and 5pm.
• Bank Holidays are not included.
• A signature is required when your parcel arrives.

If you’d prefer your parcel to be left in a safe place, just let us know before ordering (or as soon as possible afterwards). We’ll do our best to help, but parcels left in a designated safe place are done so at your own risk.

Free Delivery

Spend £30 or more and we’ll send your order by Royal Mail Tracked 48 completely free.

(Free postage is calculated after any discount codes have been applied.)

How Quickly Do We Pack Orders?

Our packing room is open Monday to Friday, and we aim to dispatch all orders within 48 business hours.

Often we’re quicker than that, but during busy periods it can take a little longer.

As an example:

• Order at 11am on Monday and we’ll usually have it in the post by Wednesday at the latest.
• Order on Friday evening or over the weekend and we’ll normally dispatch it by Tuesday.

Bank Holidays can occasionally slow things down a little.

International Orders

Sadly, since Brexit, sending parcels to Europe has become much more complicated for small businesses.

For the time being we’ve made the difficult decision to pause deliveries to EU countries.

To all of our European customers – we’re really sorry for the inconvenience and hope to resume shipping in the future.

International shipping outside the UK is also currently unavailable.

 Returns

We want you to be delighted with your order, but if something isn’t quite right, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to sort it out.

Unused items can be returned within 28 days of dispatch using our free returns service.

Simply email us at sales@the-beadshop.co.uk and we’ll send you a returns form.

A couple of exceptions:

• Earring components can’t be returned for hygiene reasons.
• Colours can look slightly different depending on screen settings. If something isn’t what you expected when it arrives, we’ll happily arrange a refund.

A Few Final Bits

We do our best to keep our stock levels accurate, but every now and then mistakes happen. Items get miscounted, suppliers let us down, or something goes missing in the packing room.

If an item isn’t available, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to suggest an alternative or issue a refund.

We also can’t accept responsibility for delays caused by Royal Mail, courier companies, strikes, severe weather or other events outside our control.

And finally, please double-check your delivery address before ordering. Our team packs thousands of parcels each week and works to a pretty tight schedule, so once an order has been dispatched we’re unable to make any changes.
