Working with beads

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could create the jewellery that you have always dreamed of wearing? You can easily create pieces of jewellery by using some of the many materials that are available but the most versatile materials when it comes to jewellery making are beads.

Making your own jewellery can be really rewarding and all of your friends will be asking how you have made such beautiful pieces out of such simple materials. You can be as creative as you like when it comes to bead jewellery and it is amazing what can be created when you put your mind to it.

You might want to take some inspiration from some of the jewellery you have seen on the high street or that your friends have been wearing recently. You will need to decide which type of bead you want to use when you are creating jewellery as there are many to choose from. Some of the favourite beads to work with when making jewellery are glass beads, wooden beads and plastic beads. There are even Swarovski crystals for you to choose from if you think that they would be appropriate for the type of jewellery that you are making.
