Handcrafted White Freshwater Pearl Wedding Cuff by Sue Ashworth
What have you made and why do you like it?
I hand knitted this bridal cuff using non tarnish silver plated wire and decorated it with freshwater pearls and other sparklies. I love it because it has a filigree or lacy effect and you can mold it to your wrist to give a snug but comfortable fit.
What inspired you?
I wanted to make something wide to make a statement but delicate enough for a bride. I have also made a matching choker and the set was worn by a lovely bride in August this year. Her picture is on my website.
Which type of beads you have used and why?
I used .4 cm and 1.2 cm non tarnish silver plated wire, freshwater pearls, diamante beads and other sparklies.
