Here at the Bead Shop we have been slightly overwhelmed by the versatility of this soft natural material and have been really excited to share ideas with our wonderful beading community.

5mm Leather cord is one of the latest editions to our stringing materials range and can be found in a variety of distressed textures as well as more classic finishes of shiny Black and Brown.

The 5 mm leather cord range

You’ll find it compatible with 6mm magnetic clasps as well as a selection of glue-in Toggles and Hooks (6.2mm inner diameter).

Leather is a material favoured by men and women alike; making it a go to material for unisex jewellery designs.  We have therefore created a selection of 4 different bracelet styles in a variety of difficulty levels in the hope of getting your creative juices flowing.

Sizing Bracelets can be a tricky business, so try not to glue anything into place until you are 100% happy with your sizing. As a ball park figure, we recommend working to a measurement of 9 Inches for all men’s jewellery.

For multi wrap bracelets, simply multiply this figure by the amount of wraps you wish to include.  Women’s jewellery comes in at around 7.5 Inches. For unisex jewellery, we recommend making a collection ranging from 7- 10 Inches, that way all bases should be covered.
