Jewellery Kit of the Week – Indian Style Necklace and Bracelet

This week’s trendy jewellery kit is our Indian style necklace and bracelet made by our lovely Fran. The boho jewellery set features Swarovski Crystals in deep emeralds and fuchsias, champagne seed beads and a hand painted Indian glass bead. What to have a go at making it? Here is how!
For the necklace, place a seed bead onto an opened jump ring before closing. Continue until you have a length of chain that you will link to one half of a toggle. Attach the other end to a copper chain and link to the other half of the toggle. Now place a rectangle bead onto an eyepin and loop, then on another eyepin place two copper spacer beads and loop. Attach the latter to the jump ring to link the two chains and fasten the rectangle bead eyepin to the loop at the bottom of the eyepin with the spacer beads on.
For the bracelet, place seed beads onto jump rings like you did for the necklace. Measure and cut the chain into two equal lengths (test the length by wrapping the chain around your wrist). Open the last jump ring on the seed beaded chain and attach to both lengths of the plain chain. Then attach the free ends of the seed beaded chain and plain chain to the toggle.
To make the charms, place a copper spacer bead onto a headpin followed by a Swarovski Crystal, make a wrapped loop and distribute the Swarovski Crystals over the four headpins in a nice pattern. To finish attach all four headpins to a jump ring and link onto the jump ring linking the chain and toggle.
If you don’t want to use wrapped loops you can make a simple loop instead.
