How To Make a Swarovski Neon Tassel Bracelet

Swarovski Neon Tassel Bracelet

Create this stunning bracelet using Swarovski Crystal Pearls, Diamante Rhondells and make your own tassels using Chinese Knotting Cord, all strung together using Stretch Magic.

Step 1

Cut the Elastic in half, you will only need one half to make this bracelet, but keep the other half in case you make a mistake.

Step 2

Starting with a pearl begin to thread your beads and rhondells onto the elastic. Alternate the pattern as you go. The amount of beads you need will depend on your wrist size.

Step 3

Once you are happy with the size, make sure to end with a pearl, but before you tie the elastic, add your pendant slide to one end. Tie the ends of the elastic using a surgeons knot.

3

Step 4

The knot should sit neatly between two pearls and will be hidden by the pendant slide. If you would like to add some glue to the knot for extra security then please go ahead.

Step 5

To create the tassel you will need a cash card/ store card. Firstly trim off approx 15cm of Rainbow Cord and put to one side. Now holding one end of the remaining cord, start to wrap it around the card lengthways.

5

Step 6

Wrap the cord approximately 14 times around the card. Now carefully slide the loops off the card pinching in the middle to create a figure of eight.

6

Step 7

Using your separate length of cord, tie a knot in the middle.

7

Step 8

Fold in half and glue into your 8mm Barrel End. Once the glue is dry, take some scissors and cut the loops. Trim them to required size creating a tassel of rainbow colours. To complete the bracelet, attach the Barrel End to the Slider using the 5mm Jump Ring

Tips & Advice

When glass pearls are sprayed, the holes can sometimes get blocked with paint. If you are struggling to thread your beads, poke a pin or piece of wire through the openings of the pearl to remove any paint build up.
