Christmas Competition with Designer Kerrie Slade

We are all getting into the Christmas spirit here at The Bead Shop, and this month we are proud to announce that we have teamed up with the amazing, Kerrie Slade to create a fabulous competition for you.

Kerrie Slade is a creative blogger and an amazingly talented designer of her own bead creations who is also known as “The face behind the needle”.

Nine years ago, Kerrie found herself mesmerised by the sparkly, shiny and twinkly assortment of beads that soon after dazzled her into a road of success. She now creates her own beautiful bead designs and shows them off to the world through her blog and website.

Her recent collection the, ‘Midnight Garden’ collection is based on using a limited selection of stunning and mystical beads. The theme behind this collection is based on a fairy tale which she started to create after a magical and inspiring mental image.

She described this image to be “of a secret walled garden bathed in the light of the full moon with over grown and twisting vines and leaves, full of night blooming flowers and mystical creatures, where magical things happen if you are fortunate to witness them”.

Kerrie has picked out some of her favourite beads from our store for the lucky competition winner to receive after entering the competition. The selection of beautiful beads include; Miyuki Delicas and Duracoat seed beads in midnight greys and silvers, shadowy grey,  Swarovski crystal pearls sparkly Swarovski crystals including an incredibly twinkly star pendant, and a selection of whimsical charms that fit in perfectly with her amazing Midnight Garden theme.

In order to enter the competition to give you the chance to win this prize then all you have to do is follow the simple instructions below. 

1. Click onto the Kerrie Slade blog and answer the following questions on the comment box on the “Midnight Garden Themed Giveaway Blog”.
2. These simple questions are:
• In what year was The Bead Shop (Manchester) established?
• How many different beading patterns does Kerrie Slade sell directly from her website?

The closing date for the competition is the 18^th December 2012. All of the correct answers will be put into a hat and selected at random by Kerrie Slade who will then be notified the winner herself. We will then contact the winner to arrange the delivery of the exciting prize.
