Tips & Tricks for preserving the life of your seed beads.

Terra Intensive is an ultra vibrant coating over a classic Preciosa glass bead. Unlike traditionally dyed glass, this bright colour is applied ontop of a glass bead, to acheive maximum vibrancy.

If you are concerned about the longevity of your seed bead colours, there are few extra measures you can do to extend the life of these little glass beads.

Preparing your seed beads  with an additional acrylic spray paint such as Mod Podge Clear Acrylic Aerosol Sealer before use will add a barrier between the coating and the wearer.

Here’s how…

You will need:

·         Grip seal/ zip lock plastic bag

·         Clear acrylic spray paint

·         Plastic sheet for drying

1) Pour your seed beads into the bag.

2) Spray the clear acrylic paint into the bag.

3) Give the bag a good shake to ensure all the little beads are coated in the acrylic paint.

4) Pour beads onto a plastic sheet and spread out so none of the beads are touching.

Leave to dry. Done!
