Kumihimo, which means means the ‘coming together’ (kumi) of threads (himo), is the ancient art of Japanese board braiding, where cords are combined with beads to create beautiful jewelry.

These bobbins are perfect for your kumihimo and macrame braiding. Made from soft plastic, theyre pliable, stackable and translucent. The patented, protective locking feature prevents threads from unraveling and tangling and secures loose ends.

ADVICE:

• To make a necklace you will need 8 separate metres.
• To make a bracelet you will need 8 x 1/2 metres.
• Use 3.5mm bell closers when weaving with S-Lon Cord
• Use 5.5 -6mm bell closers when weaving with 1mm cord.
• Use 8mm bell closers when weaving with 2mm cord.
