These ready made cord ends are a beautiful way to finish your jewellery projects. Simply glue on to the end of your necklaces and bracelets for a professional finish. We find that our Zap Gel Jewellery Super Glue is perfect for this. Use on either a single strand or braids with multiple thinner strands.

The extension chain means that you can create jewellery that is adjustable, which is especially useful when making bracelets for different sized wrists.

For a multi-strand braid we recommend using a whipping & finishing technique to tie off the ends. 

Firstly, tie a knot to stop your braid from unravelling. Then take a length of thin thread (we recommend Superlon (S-Lon) Tex45 Size D), leave a small gap from the knot and wrap it around the end of the braid three times.  Tie this off tightly with a square knot and repeat if necessary.  Once this is secure and holding your braid tightly, snip off the original knot.  This should leave you with a slim finish that will slide much more easily into your end cap.
