A jewellery eye pin is a type of jewellery 'finding' used to connect two pieces of jewellery together.
The loop is used to attach a jump ring or other finding, while the open end is used to attach a bead or other component.
To complete - a second loop is then turned using Round-Nose Pliers to close the pin.
