Ecommerce Stockroom Assistant (Picking & Packing)

£8.36 - 8.91 per hour

2 – 3 days per week (up to 18hrs)

10 – 4:15pm / Mon – Fri

Part Time / Permanent (after completion of 3-month probationary period.)

Location: Cheetham Hill

We are looking for staff to assist in our packing rooms. The role involves counting, measuring & weighing various craft based items ready for them to be dispatched each day. The successful candidate must be a good fit for our small team , be willing and able to stand up for 6hrs each day, be capable of following specific instructions whilst displaying consistent levels of accuracy and attention to detail. 

Working day would be 6hrs [10am - 4:15pm] with a 15 minute unpaid break at 1pm each day. 
The position would be 2 - 3 days a week [Mon-Fri].
 
Pay starts at £8.36ph - £8.91 depending on age. 
 
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a short Zoom interview, from this we will invite people to attend a paid trial shift to see how quickly they adapt to the required tasks. 
 
We are based in Cheetham Hill , 10 minutes walk from Victoria Station.

We have wipes, kitchen rolls and sanitizers in all rooms. Cleaner comes once a week to make sure all surfaces are clean.

Experience:

  • Full training will be given, however an ability to handle & count small items is essential. This role requires you to accurately measure, count & pack items - a basic understanding of weights & measurements will be necessary.

Customer Service & Stock Administration Assistant

 

£11 per hour

3 – 4 days per week (up to 26hrs)

10 – 5pm / Mon – Fri

Job Description

A rare opportunity to join our small, dedicated team in a long-established independent craft company. This is a varied role that involves working across a range of areas. The ideal candidate will be friendly, positive, and hard-working with exceptional customer service skills, computer literacy and excellent written & spoken English language skills. Proficiency in basic maths & an understanding of weights & measures is also essential.

Experience within a similar role preferred. Familiarity with Ecommerce administration software Visualsoft and/or Mint Soft is advantageous, although full training will be given.

Must be available to work Mondays & Tuesdays but other days can be flexible. 

Daily tasks will include - Replying to customer emails (using Gmail, Amazon Seller Central, Ebay & EDesk), answering telephones, processing customer orders & returns, handling/ unpacking deliveries, stock administration, general office duties, assisting in the day-to-day running of the office, occasional order picking & packing duties.

This position would be ideally suited to someone who understands the demands of running a small independent business. The successful candidate will be a team player, be willing to lend a hand wherever needed, have a keen eye for detail, be comfortable with problem solving and capable of handling small components. You will also be able to follow instructions, complete tasks & be confident to make decisions unsupervised.

We will prioritize pre-existing jewellery making / craft knowledge although full training will be given to the right person.
