About Calottes

At The Bead Shop we stock a wide range of calottes in a plethora of colours and sizes including both side and bottom opening calottes ideal for a wide range of projects including finishing off beautiful strings of pearls on Griffin Silk Thread as well as jewellery strung on both nylon coated wire and nylon wire and our larger 5mm side opening calottes can even be used to finish off kumihimo braids as an alternative to a 3.2mm hook n eye or toggle.

Carefully close a calotte using a pair of flat or chain nose pliers being careful not to completely squash it.
