About Box Closers

Box closers are really easy to use, they finish off a piece of jewellery neatly and extremely professionally. We stock 2 sizes of box closer; 7mm and 4mm in silver, gold, black and copper plated. 4mm box closers look delicate and best used with up to 1.5mm cord, whereas, 7mm box closers are great for slightly chunkier jewellery and stringing material measuring up to 2mm.

If you wanted to add a touch of glue to the inside of your box closer before you fold it over then this will only add extra strength to your jewellery if you want it to be that little bit more hard-wearing. We suggest flat nose or chain nose pliers to work with box closers.
