Using a pair of flat nose pliers, a crimp bead, Wire Guardian and a length of Tiger Tail, the seemingly impossible task of creating intricate items of jewellery such as the Swarovski Star Bracelet can be made relatively simple. Carefully follow the steps below to master Wire Guardian fastening.

1 Thread the wire through one side of the wire guardian make sure you have enough wire to thread back through the other side, over the top and down through the hole on the other side.

2 Then thread on a crimp onto the long length of wire and push this up to meet the wire guardian on both bits of wire.

3 Flatten the crimp with flat nose pliers.
