Crimp beads come in two forms: round and tube. They are used most commonly on beadalon wire and crimpable chain. Round crimp beads are for using if you would like to use crimp covers and calottes, whereas tube crimps would be used for heavier beads or multi stranded jewellery.

Round crimps can be squashed woth flat nose pliers.

Tube crimps are suitable for use with crimping pliers.
