Heres how to keep braids from unraveling when cut: 1. Wrap a piece of thread (S-Lon size D) around the end of the braid 3 times, leaving a small gap between the whip thread and the braid knot. Tie the thread tightly with a square knot. 2. Cut the braid close to the whip. 3. Glue on the end cap so it covers the whip thread.

To use, simply place a crimp bead onto the wire and squash the crimp bead so that it is secure. Place the wire with the crimp bead on inside the calotte then trim the end of the wire so that the calotte can be closed easily. You can also use glue on the crimp bead inside the calotte to help ensure that the wire is secure. If you are using nylon or silk thread, simply place the thread through the hole at the bottom of the calotte and knot several times. Secure the knot with glue.

To use, simply place the wire through the hole at the bottom of the calotte, place a crimp bead onto the wire and squash the crimp bead so that it is secure.Trim the end of the wire so that the calotte can be closed easily. You can also use glue on the crimp bead inside the calotte to help ensure that the wire is secure. If you are using nylon or silk thread, simply place the thread through the hole at the bottom of the calotte and knot several times. Secure the knot with glue.

This earring base is perfect if you want to make earrings with attitude. The mesh allows you to weave a variety of beads onto it producing a voluptuous piece. Once you have the earring base all you need is a selection of beads and aprox 1 meter of nylon. Secure the nylon thread by knotting it on the underside of the sieve and weave in and out adding beads as you go. Once you have finished knot the nylon again at the back.
